Brent Rudolph - Owner, Designer and Bowyer welcomes you to Black Mountain Bows.

I am proud to announce a cooperative agreement between Black Mountain Bows and Dryad Bows, Inc. Effective August 29, 2009 Dryad will have responsibility for building the Sheepeater bow for Black Mountain. I will continue to do development and be the marketing and sales storefront for Black Mountain.

Look for me at east coast shows representing and selling both Dryad and Black Mountain bows.

I’ve accumulated some thirty-six years of archery, bow hunting, and training in bow design as well as a lot of bumps and bruises from the Bowyers School of Hard Knocks along the way. My bow building philosophy is simply… "You can't build a bow without putting some saw dust on the floor". I remain fascinated by bow physics, being blessed with an intuitive understanding of limb design. I still enjoy pushing the envelope of design, materials, and imagination and seeing where is will take me.”

This one is all black, with black glass on both the back and belly, Tonkin Bamboo laminations, and an Ebony riser. Tips overlays are black phenolic and buffalo horn.
